BEING THE YOUNGEST child in the family means a lot of hand-me-downs and castoffs. So how do you, as a parent, keep the littlest ones from kicking up a fuss about it?

Cork mam Claire McCormack had a novel way of keeping her youngest child, Kate, happy to receive her older sisters’ old clothes.

Claire let on that she’d bought the clothes from fancy shop called L’Attic, and Kate was satisfied – the twist? L’Attic is a lot more literal than she expected:
